She watched him for a moment, enjoying the pleasant warmth of his fingers as they brushed against her flesh.
"... While it is all so wonderfully mysterious not to know the name of my amante, a girl should always ask the name of her salvatore, sì?"

Li chuckled softly as he left her bedside to fetch one of his old shirts out for her. It was upon returning to her side and offering her the shirt that he ventured to answer her question.
"I would ask the same of you, signora," he replied. "il mio nome è Modesti, Liborio Modesti."
"E il vostro?"

Piero looked to the reveiled man's hand, he did not take it yet. He scoffed as he continued to clean his hands with the rag. "I didn't know my father could afford a body guard..." he turned to Cristiana "You told me you needed more money in your last letter. So i see you have been using it to get yourself out of trouble. " He shook his head, "Wouldn't it be easier to not get into trouble in the first place" he huffed.
Cristiana looked to the ground " It wasn't my fault Piero... the Borgia are getting more brutal, this man saved us out of charity" for now she replied. "Per favore Piero, we need a place to stay" she continued.
Piero sighed and broke a tiny smile. " I could not reject you sorella... " He did not take the hand of Vittorio, but gave him a tough pat on the back. " Hurry and come inside, we can speak more then."
Cristiana smiled and began to hurry her fdather inside, it was warming in there.

[Elario Luminus]

Vittorio pulled his hood back over his head against the cold, and waited for the family to go in front of him. He walked kind of sideways into the house, checking over his shoulder for any signs of danger until the door was closed.

The courtesan gave a quiet laugh.
"Of course. No more mystery then..." she teased as she took the tunic.
"Violetta..."
She winced as she pulled it over her head.
"Solo Violetta. Si?"
She offered him a tired smile.

Liborio smiled softly and the her a gentle kiss upon the cheek.
"Rest easy Violetta, I will mind your sleep."

[Yuna Braska]

Piero pulled out a chair for his father before turning to the rather uniquely dressed male. "Vittorio was it? Le mie scuse, but what interest do you have for my family, we cannot give you money for your great deed. I hope you were not expecting any"

[Elario Luminus]

Vittorio shook his head. 'I've not asked for money. Simply your sisters help in some matters that I need to deal with. Her talents, rustic as they are, may come in handy to me later. And your father has pledged his services to me for rescuing him from the grip of the Borgia. These they do of their own will; know that I have not coerced them in any way, signore.'

Violetta gave a small smile in return, content he wouldn't leave her, drifting into an exhaust-driven sleep.

Piero sighed and shook his head, resting his hand on it. " I don't understand, Cristiana is a woman, why would you want her... Skills?"[\b] Cristiana went to speak but her brother put his hand. " whatever it be, I am glad they are safe.. Thank you."[\b] Piero finally said reaching out his hand to vittorio. Pier was a complex man, he had his beliefs and has been determined to get by on his own, which he had been doing until the accident. He didn't come back to visit for almost a year after.. Cristiana still wondered if he was doing alright.

Vittorio took the offered hand and shook it firmly. He stood up and straightened his robes before turning to Cristiana.
'I'll leave you here with your family now, signora. I'm sure you have a lot of catching up to do, and I have other charges to see to. I will send word for you.' Without another word, he swept out of the room and collected his horse from the stables. Mounting the horse, he nudged the horse first into a walk, then all the way through to a gallop, speeding back towards the city to see to his courtesan.

Liborio had settled himself down with a book. His legs were up on the table, the book held aloft by one hand. It was a very casual posture, and he was simply waiting for his guest to finish her nap.

When Violetta finally woke, she was slow to stir and sit herself up. She held her shoulder with a groan, slowly accustoming her eyes to her surroundings, where she found Liborio.
"Li..." she murmured.
"What time is it?... I should be getting back..."
