There was a quiet huff of annoyance as Violetta buckled her pouch around her hips again. At the very least, her discarded clothing had remained out of the radius of any blood splatter. She looked over her shoulder at the body on the bed behind her, pulling on her leather gloves. He had been a difficult one; wary of her seduction, then a little too quick to catch on to her trap. He had pulled out his own knife - no doubt the same one he had used on her sisters - attempting to plunge it into her exposed flesh. Too bad he hadn't been the one on top. A swift catch and twist of his wrist had ensured that the point found it's way to his heart. Violetta shifted to kneel over him. It wouldn't be long before a housemaid or family member discovered him here. She couldn't linger. "Requiescat..." she said, closing his frozen, glazed eyes. She moved off the bed and to the window sill, flicking her dark hair over her shoulder. "... Bastardo."

Christiana was nervous again, she feared what should happen if things went wrong. She saw what the guards did to theives once they caught them. She didn't want her family suffering for her decisions, they already have too much on their minds. Perhaps if they had one less mouth to feed then perhaps they could get by. They could pay the bank back and keep their home, store and lives. It would be alright again. She made her way through the crowd, with the box of fabrics in her hands. Her breathing was getting faster and heavy as she neared a well dressed male, his money purse bouncing off the side of blue pants. She shied away behind a lock of blonde curled hair once she was just a few meters from him. One bounce... two bounce... three bouce, she reached out her arm and silently grabbed the purse between her fingers. It was done, her breathing rate returned to normal, but the purse seemed very few on coins. She sighed heavily at her disappointment, she would have to do it again. She went to turn to go towards her fathers store but felt her old shoe catch on a uneven brick on the path. With a surprised scream she fell ontop of her box, breaking it slightly and attracting attention. Not what she wanted. "Theif! Theif!" she heard from behind her, it was the male with the blue pants. She panicked picking up her fabric's quickly and making a run for it. Lifting her dress slightly to allow her to sprint through the crowds of Rome.

Liborio Modesti meandered his way through a thick crowd, pausing briefly in his advance to flick a Florin at the nearest merchant, swiping an apple from the pile and sweeping it up to his mouth for a juicy bite. His eyes then swept the crowd, casually assessing the face of every passer-by. There was no one particularly remarkable in this crowd. Sure, he'd been told that his charge was very good at hiding, but he'd also been told they were not so hard to tell if you DID see them... subtlety was perhaps not a skill of theirs in terms of dress-sense - or so his grandmaster had told him. He continued about his way when his search turned up nothing of interest, his well cared for and intricately adorned blade swinging at his hip, its swirled hilt resting in a place of honour at his side. He smiled politely at any who jostled him on their way past, murmuring words of greeting to any who would lend an ear long enough to hear.
Rome was every bit the marvelous city he'd been told, but he was also more than aware that it was a dangerous city, with 'rats' lurking unseen amongst the crowd, waiting to spring at any given chance. His focus had just been diverted from the crowd to the nearby buildings when the yells from further up the road caught his attention. He frowned as the frantic call of "theif!" reached his ears, and only moments later he spotted a young girl breaking through the crowd, her skirts lifted to allow for easier movement. The first rat... he mused, stepping back to disappear into a group of onlookers. He maneuvered his way into the girl's path and shot out a hand with amazing reaction time to seize her by the forearm, halting her escape. "Scuzi, bella," he greeted charmingly, offering a warm smile. "It hardly seems befitting of a lady to pilfer a purse so callously."

Vittorio walked through the streets of Rome. He knew this place incredibly well; every hiding place, gathering point, and where Ezio had placed the different Factions. He himself was second in all challenges set by the Thieves Guild and the Mercenaries, second only to The Mentor, and he was a regular at the Rosa in Fiore. Despite all the fun and games he enjoyed for free as an Assassin at these places, right now he was a death dealer. Making sure his hidden blades worked, he scanned the crowd, searching for his target. His mind drifted back to the contract Ezio had set him on.
In Rome, there has been a Courtesan free-roaming. Reign her in and see what she's been up to.
Vittorio knew he'd be in a spot of trouble if he was spotted by guards, or even just the crowd should he do anything of "the norm". So he idly watched the crowd and surrounding buildings, keeping an ever-vigilant eye on where this Courtesan would be. Then he spotted her at a window sill, flicking her hair about her shoulders. Setting a mental reminder of that spot, he moved seemingly lost, but with purpose towards that building.
He couldn't very well just knock and ask to come in, so he'd have to wait for her to leave first. To get a better vantage point, he quickly walked around the corner and scaled the wall even quicker. He crouched over the rooftop, looking down at the window sill, waiting for something to happen.

Violetta gave herself a quick once-over before she took any action, ensuring she was clean of any blood herself, and checking that her hidden weaponry was securely placed away so it wouldn't accidentally cause any harm to herself. Carefully, she climbed out of the window, holding onto the ledge, looking down. She suppressed a sigh. It was much too far down. She wouldn't be able to drop without at least hurting herself and attracting a hell of a lot of attention. Climbing wasn't exactly a mastered art of hers though. Steeling herself, she began scaling across the wall and down to a quiet alley, trying to ignore the racing of her heart every time her foot slipped or she almost lost her grip. 'Almost there...'

Christiana ran for her life, sprinting down the street, weaving in and out of people. She went to look back to see if the man was following her but she suddenly felt her arm being ripped away from her stride. She wasn't expecting the guard to stop her path, her heart was still racing and her knees began to buckle when she realised that she had been caught. " Please Signore!" she begged as she pulled against his hold. The arm he held was clasping the small bag of coins, her other was holding her fabrics tightly to her chest. " I didn't do anything wrong!" she lied, hoping the guard didn't see the actual theif. The guards was taller than her, with brown hair. His uniform made him look so scarey to her.

((he isn't a guard Cristyn. Did you not bother to read my profile?))
Liborio frowned at the girl as she tried to claim that she hadn't done anything wrong. He wasn't stupid,he could see the money pouch clutched in her other hand. "I'm going to give you a few moments to hand me over the purse and walk away, I'll see to it that you are not charged for it." He sounded genuine but he also sounded rather dangerous, like she only had a very brief window before he resorted to far more dangerous measures.

Vitorrio watched on as the courtesan stumbled her way down the wall in the alley. She has potential to be ours. I have to watch her a bit more, however, see what she's up to. Quietly, the Assassin slipped into the room she'd climbed out of and saw the dead body, stabbed with a knife in the chest. He huffed to himself. Efficient. He checked the body, all the while stealing florins where he found them. He found a necklace with a Templar symbol, with the exact same symbol on the hilt of the knife. Vittorio huffed again. At least she's killed a Templar. I don't imagine an Assassin would be worth killing; at least we have the right morals when it comes to treating people right. Vittorio heard footsteps coming towards the room, so he swiftly climbed out the window and up the wall back to where he was before. Once there, he quickly began searching for his target once more, disregarding the scream heard from inside.

Violetta landed a little heavily once she dropped into the alleyway beneath her, wincing just a little as she felt her knee jar. 'Just don't think about it...' She couldn't linger. Suppressing a limp, she began to work her way out to the main square, where she could mingle with the crowd and make her way back to the bordello.

Christiana did not make eye contact with the man, she knew he was being serious. Her legs were shaking from her fear, so she unclutched her hand and let the bag of coins fall from them. "Please let me go" her voice quivered. She needed that coin, her family needs it... next time she needed to be more careful with her theft.

Liborio gave the girl a gentle shove as she released the coin-purse. Once she'd stumbled a short way from him he stooped to pick the pouch up, bouncing it once in his hand. He then reached into his pocket, removing three Florins from his pockets and tossing them onto the ground at her feet. "Now get out of my sight," he murmured, turning away from her to head back through the crowd in the direction she'd come from. He found the owner of the purse easily, on account of the fuss he was making to the guard. "Signore, I believe this belongs to you?" He held the pouch out towards the red-faced man. "Where did you get this?" the man snapped, snatching the pouch from Li's hands. "A girl dropped it as she pushed past me, I'm afraid I did not see where she went, but at least your valuables have been returned to you, si?" The man and the guards seemed suspicious, but in the end neither were overly fond of the idea of running around the city all day looking for a girl whose face the man had barely seen. "Grazie, signore," the man concluded before going about his own business.
With a content sigh Liborio returned to his meandering walk, keeping his eyes peeled just as before, for any sign of activity that might mean his targets were around. He thought about that girl, and why she had to steal from people. People like her were either pitiful or sick in the head. There were plenty of other ways to make an honest Florin, no one should have to resort to thievery like that.

Vittorio moved quickly along the rooftops of Rome, keeping out of sight of any archers or snipers. He could've made short work of them of course, but he didn't want to kick up the fuss about a dead body sliding off the roof to the street below. The Assassin knew what his target looked like, and going from her hesitation to climb the wall earlier, he assumed she might have sustained an injury from that event. He kept an eye on the street, looking for a lone courtesan with a possible limp or awkward gait. He'd have something to say to the Madame in her bordello about this one...

Violetta slithered her way through the masses of people in the square, charming the men she passed with a smile while she walked. Il Cigno D'oro, while not the most prominent house in Roma, was thankfully central and soon she would be able to strap her aching knee. She blew a kiss to a young gentleman as she brushed a little closely to him, before hurrying on her way down the street, the small bordello now in sight.

Cristiana sighed deeply when she was shoved away, she was thankful that the man kept his word. She was a little insulted however when he threw coins at her. She wasn't a begger, she felt so hopeless when she picked up the coin though. Despite her hesitation she needed them. She began to make her way through the crowd again, a little overwelmed from the last situation but figured that next time she needed to pick her targets better and make sure she does not get spotted. Christiana looked at the coins in her hand and frowned. How she would love to save the coins and buy a new dress, like the ones that the lady's wear with the delicate fans to keep them cool. She envied them, but she couldn't spend it on something so selfish. She turned to look down the streets where the markets are held, she could here the people call to the crowds trying to sell their products. The markets were always so busy, people pushing and shoving, yelling and grumbling. She didn't like it but it was the closest place to her home to get good bread. She slowly made her way through the people, gently pushing aside any slow walkers.
