[Tifa Lockhart]

Chaud avoiding Lan's gaze, blue eyes fixed on his own feet. After a while, he closed his eyes.
"What else can I do, Lan?" he murmured, his voice broken. "I can't even stand."

Lan seemed unsure of how to reply to that...he didn't know that, all he knew was that Chaud needed to start pushing himself to try and stand. Maybe if he attempted to, his nerves would start responding again. That was all he knew. Sai came to his aid then, finally speaking up again, though his voice was soft in an attempt to mask the slightly husky sound from his repressed tears.
"...maybe you should go and see someone about giving you some help?" he suggested, quietly, though he sounded a little unsure, himself.

"I've been talking to Doctors," Chaud replied. Through that statement he undermined what the twins had been claiming the entire time... he HAD been trying... he hadn't been sitting by doing nothing at all... he'd made attempts. "None of their methods have yielded any results."

Sai fell silent again at that, fidgeting uncomfortably and casting his gaze back to the books, to distract himself. Lan on the other hand just seemed somewhere between frustrated and completely lost. "...well, I don't know, maybe you just haven't found the right way yet! I don't know about this stuff, okay, but I do know you need to have a little faith! It isn't over yet, and until it really is, you have to keep fighting back! We're not giving up on you, Chaud, so you can't give up either" with that, he seemed to convince himself to calm down a little, glancing away a moment in thought, before he turned back to Chaud again. "come on, cheer up would you...? you're not acting at all like the Chaud we know, and I can't say it's a comforting thing..." he complained, with a slight sigh. He wouldn't say so, but he also wanted Chaud to cheer up so Sai would, he could tell easily enough that it was Chaud's poor emotional state that was upsetting his twin so much...he didn't like it when something upset his brother, it made things seem awfully hopeless when even he couldn't find even the tiniest of smiles.

"I am fine, I told you that," Chaud retorted then, the stubborn look returning to his eyes. "The sooner you stop your fretting for me, the better."
He glanced down at his book, as if contemplating picking it back up.... But ignoring Lan and Sai now would be rude.
"I'm sure my ability to sleep with return soon," he assured, glancing at Sai.

Sai had glanced back when Chaud answered his earlier question, still looking a bit uneasy, but he seemed to relax when the topic seemingly began to die down. "I hope it does, you need your rest." he replied, pulling his PDA from his pocket then, briefly, to check the time, before he put the object back in his pocket again. "I still have a little while before I have to head off." he mused, mostly to himself. Lan had just sighed at Chaud's response, not seeming convinced, but he let it go, realising that the young man was beginning to grow tired of the subject.
"I'm not going to stop worrying about you, Chaud, you're my friend, and friends worry about each other!" he replied, with a slight sigh of exasperation. "but whatever, I'll let it be if you'd rather that." he waved his hand in a dismissive manner as he said that, deciding that doing what the other wanted might be for the better.

Chaud sighed softly at that, folding his arms and looking up at the twins.
"Did you plan anything for today then, or did you just come on a whim?"

Lan shrugged at that, glancing to his twin to seek his advice, he just shrugged and shook his head as well, however, so Lan turned his gaze back to Chaud. "not really, we'd been planning to come visit some time, but we didn't really think ahead of that. Only plans I had were sticking around with you to try and help you cheer up! I figured if anyone could irritate you enough to distract you from your troubles it'd be me!" Even though he still seemed a little 'out' of the conversation at the time, even Sai snickered at that, an almost sly grin crossing his face.
"for sure, if being annoying was a sport, you'd be world champion, no doubt about it!" he cackled, his brother seeming to take the jibe as a form of compliment, grinning broadly.
"and I'm proud of it!" Lan remarked, as his twin fell silent again. "well anyway, I'm happy to sit around and chat or do whatever. But there's nothing to do at home so-"
"Except homework" sai cut in, briefly, his younger brother pausing to scowl irritably at the boy, who just smirked amusedly, before he continued where he'd been cut off.
"so if you're not overly bothered by it, I can stick around all day." he said, folding his arms casually.
"all day until he gets sick of you, anyway. Regardless I'm also fine with whatever you would prefer to do until I have to head off. If you'd like I can tell Papa you said hello?" he suggested, turning a querying gaze to Chaud, though he remained somewhat at a distance from the young man as he spoke to him.

Chaud sighed and shook his head, giving a mildly amused smirk.
"When do you ever plan ahead?" he asked.
He then slowly moved himself to the edge of the window seat, using his hands, and lowered himself into the wheelchair that sat beside it. Once he'd settled himself, he wheeled towards the library door.
"We'll go to the theatre room and watch a movie or something..."

"sure! let's go!" Lan agreed, grinning and moving to follow his friend out of the room. Sai realised after he'd already gone to get the door for Chaud and his brother that the gesture might have been taken more as an insult than he had intended, having only done so to be polite since it was in his nature, not entirely because Chaud was in the wheelchair. Though he wouldn't deny that said fact made him feel semi-obliged to be especially polite to the older boy. He hoped that Chaud wouldn't take it wrong, silently berating himself for being a little too polite at times. The twins then followed Chaud down the hallways to where he was taking them, and although Lan was rather amazed by the room, gawking at the size of the screen and all the other impressive gadgets, his brother was far less struck with awe, probably because he remembered the room from when he had gone looking for Protoman the first time after Chaud was attacked and found the man in the cyberspace of this room looking back through video records that had been stored on a large harddrive in the room. Still, he was still quite impressed, since it was a very good setup.

Chaud had shot Sai a strange look as he passed him at the door, but it had not been one of complete disapproval, and he'd thanked the boy under his breath.
So they'd gone to the theatre room in silence, and Chaud had presented Lan with an itemised list of all the movies he own so that he could pick one.

After the movie had been chosen, the group settled to enjoy the film together, Lan leaning slightly on his brother's shoulder, which -although it did seem to make him a little uncomfortable, perhaps putting a bit to much weight on the boy- did not seem to bother him too much. The movie was an action type of movie, of course, since all three of them like various kinds of action or adventure films. It wasn't one that Saito was familiar with, though his brother had been meaning to see it some time, so all of them seemed to quite enjoy it.

Following the movie's finish, Saito checked the time again on his PDA, announcing he had about 20 minutes to hang around before he needed to get going, asking what they should do next until he had to leave.
