"I'm always safe." Cloud replied in his usual gentle tone, rubbing the back of his head. "But i'll be extra careful." He walked over to give Aerith a hug, he scruffed Ynyr's hair a little much to the child's mild displeasure and then went over to give Ashlynn a parting kiss.
"I'll take good care of this." He said, showing her the shell and smiling. "Take care of your daddy for me." He straightened and waved to Zack before hopping onto his bike and starting it up.
"Take care!" Tifa called, waving as she jumped on the bike in behind Cloud.

Aerith giggled quietly, fixing Ynyr's hair for him, kissing him again.
Ashlynn beamed up to Cloud, then dropped her head on his chest.
"Bye-bye Uncle Spike! Bye-bye Aunty Tifa!"

"Bye!" Cloud and Tifa called in unison over the roar of the bike before they pulled away and disappeared into the distance.
"Well, i'm sure the people of Edge will be glad to have their favourite bar and delivery service back in action." Zack said with a yawn.

Aerith smiled.
"I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone... It's a little strange to know we're finally home."
"For now though, I think it's time for sleep," she said firmly.
"You ready to go to bed, hm?" she asked Ynyr.
"We'll be leaving early tomorrow morning," Yuffie chimed in.
"So we might as well bid you farewell when we say goodnight. Anything you want us to do before we leave?"

"Nah you guys've done enough for us recently." Zack said with a smile, putting his hand on Kunsel's shoulder, "Head home whenever you're ready. Thankyou for everything."
Ynyr looked up at his mother and nodded.

"Let's tuck you and your sister in then," Aerith smiled, turning around and heading inside, moving to the children's bedroom, looking over her shoulder to check that Zack was following her with Ashlynn.

Zack moved to follow Aerith the moment she headed inside. He was stroking Ashlynn's hair gently as he walked.
"You ready to settle down little angel?" He asked the little girl.

"But it's well past your bedtime honey," Aerith said as she placed Ynyr down on his bed and pulled his blankets over him.
"And Mummy and Daddy are very tired."

"Night night Mummy." Ynyr called as she tucked him in, snuggling down into his blankets.
"You'll be alright honey, a little extra sleep will do you good." Zack said as he put Ashlynn down in her bed and tucked her in softly, leaning down to kiss her forehead.

Zack followed Aerith with no concentration, the action just completely natural.
"We are. And this is where we're gonna get to stay." He said, freeing one of his hands to stroke the side of his beloved's face. He'd realised something while they'd been away... he really did need her with everything he was, and he wanted to be with her forever.
