"It's alright, cooking i can do." Tifa said, propping her hand on her hip as she watched everyone start to dig in. She then settled herself down beside Cloud, gave him a quick kiss, lumped more onto his plate and then set about getting her own food.
Ynyr waited patiently as Zack set up some little plates for him and Ashlynn. "Thankyou daddy." He said as his plate was put in front of him before he looked at his mother, used to her saying grace.

"Did you want to help me with grace?" she asked him gently, though she expected him to decline.

Ynyr opened his mouth for a minute and then blushed in a style much like his father and shook his head.
Zack gave a chuckle and then looked to Aerith, "Looks like you're leading again hon."

"Okay," Aerith laughed quietly, brushing her fingers tenderly through Ynyr's hair before she brought her hands to her chest, clasping them gently. Ashlynn copied her mother's gesture. Aerith smiled, then closed her eyes, bowing her head a little.
"Tonight, we are grateful for food, in a world where many walk in hunger. For faith, in a world where many walk in fear. And for friends, in a world where many walk alone."
"Bless this food and those who prepared it," she finished, looking up to Tifa with a smile.

Tifa blushed heavily when Aerith mentioned her in her blessing, it really was nothing, she enjoyed cooking.
"Minerva witness that." Zack finished gently before unclasping his hands and picking up his utensils. "Dig in and enjoy!" He said with a grin.
Cloud smiled warmly, Aerith's words were always beautiful. He mumbled his own finishing words before he too began to eat.

Aerith smiled, leaning over to help the twins with their meals.
"Is that small enough pieces?" she asked gently.
Ashlynn nodded, picking up her fork awkwardly before Aerith gently corrected her.
"How about you Yn?"

"i'm alright mummy, i can do it." Ynyr insisted as he fumbled to cut up his food with the side of his fork as he'd watched his father do on occasion. He poked his tongue out in concentration, oblivious that Zack and Kunsel were having a little chuckle about him.

"Okay baby," Aerith said, knowing that her son's pride was as easily bruised as his father's.
She shot Zack and Kunsel both a look, and Yuffie gave Kunsel a slap beside him.

"Sorry." Zack said, smoothing the smile from his lips with gentle fingers. He watched Ynyr struggle for a moment or two with a fond expression before he stood.
"I'll get some more drinks shall I?" He said and left the room to get what he had said for everyone.

Aerith leant over to Ynyr when Zack left.
"Tell me if you want some help, okay honey," she said quietly to him, kissing the side of his head.
"This tastes great Tifa!" Yuffie grinned.
"It's nice to have someone cook for us again, huh Kunsel?"

"Hey what's wrong with MY cooking?" Kunsel demanded with a laugh, folding his arms, "I only burnt two things the whole time!" He laughed.
"I'm Ok." Ynyr whined as he struggled with his food. "I wanna do it!" He sniffed, becoming distressed as he couldn't do it like his mother and father did.
Tifa smiled warmly as everyone complimented her cooking, "Thanks, i love to cook"

"Rest schmest." Kunsel declared, holding his arms out in indignance, but a drink was shoved into his hands.
"Settle down you're tiring me out." Zack said, and he didn't look like he was joking. Their work over the past few weeks and all the stress of being away from his family was beginning to mount up. He held a glass of water with what must have been an asprin in it. He put glasses before Aerith, Tifa, Cloud and yuffie and then put Ynyr and Ashlynn's special cups beside them filled with milk.
Ynyr whimpered a little and then nodded, "Mummy, teach me?" He asked, "Please." He added as an after thought.

"Of course baby," Aerith smiled, getting up and moving around behind her son's chair, reaching around to take his hands.
"Okay, now you hold them like this," she explained, moving his fingers very gently into place on the plastic utensils as Ashlynn watched on, still eating her dinner and reaching for her milk.
The little girl turned her gaze away to look at Zack.
"You okay Daddy?" she asked quietly.

"Hmm?" Zack looked up when Ashlynn called to him and gave her a tired smile. "Yeah i'm alright baby. Daddy's just a little tired that's all, he's had a big day."
Ynyr watched carefully as his mother instructed him on how to use his utensils, memorizing the way she arranged his fingers and the movements she made his hands do.
"Like this?" He asked, checking he was doing it right.
