Zack tried not to let the images of Cloud at the end of his fight with Sephiroth come back, but he failed, and soon their heavily bloodied best friend was staggering back into his mind.
"Aerith's healing skills were invaluable that's for sure." He looked to Aerith a smiled warmly, trying to comfort her, almost sensing her distress.

Aerith managed a smile back, but it was hard to fight back images of clutching a very limp and broken Cloud in her arms. Sounds of Yuna screaming in emotional and physical agony. Zack's eyes as he collapsed in front of her.
It was hard to forget...

"But that's over now." Zack said, in quite a firm voice, "And i don't intend to have to leave and do anything quite that dangerous ever again." He didn't like to think about what might have happened to them all if Aerith hadn't of been there, that's for sure.

Aerith paused, looking down, but then she nodded.
Ashlynn looked up with bright blue eyes to stare at her. She had left her cookies for now.
"Is Mama okay?" she asked quietly.
Aerith gave her a small smile, kissing her tenderly and holding her close.
"I am now, now that I'm home with you and your brother."

Ynyr looked worried too, and hugged in closer against his father's chest.
"I love you daddy." He murmured into the fabric.
Zack looked a little surprised at first, but after a moment his expression softened and he hugged the boy back, "I love you too Yn. And I love your sister and your mother too."

Elmyra watched for a moment, before she stood.
"How about we all go outside, hm? A walk would be nice, wouldn't it?"
Aerith smiled and nodded, instantly agreeing. Anything to move away from this horrid topic.

Zack looked up from Ynyr and gave a small smile, nodding his head.
"A walk sounds good." he said in a soft voice, putting Ynyr down on the ground and standing, holding onto the little boy's hand still.
"Lead the way."

Aerith continued to carry Ashlynn, who whined quietly when it looked as if she may put her down.
"Do you want to have a look in the markets?" Aerith asked, looking to her mother and Zack.
"I'm happy to go wherever," Elmyra replied.
"Maybe you can find whatever it is you're looking for there?" Aerith suggested to Zack.

Zack glanced at Aerith as she suggested the markets and nodded.
"Yer, worth a look. If i can't get it here i'll have to make a run in to Edge." He glanced down at Ynyr who was already hopping up and down in his excitement.
"Uh... Ynyr and I might catch up with you three ladies later. As long as that's alright with you?"

Zack was taken slightly aback by how ready Elmyra was to support him and struggled to hide a smile.
"I know where it is. Thankyou Elmyra." He said, not mentioning for what he was thanking her XD "We'll catch you up soon, ok?" He kissed Aerith before waving to Ashlynn and heading off.
His eyes were peeled for a jewellery stall.

Zack didn't know that Elmyra was stalling for him, he'd planned to buy a few things unrelated to Aerith's gift before he even thought about looking for it.
Ynyr trotted happily along beside his father without a care in the world.
"What are we looking for daddy?" He asked, looking up at his dad.
"Just a few things..." Zack said with a smile, "Don't tell mummy though OK?"
The little boy grinned, apparently loving a good secret, "Ok, i wont!" He promised.
They meandered along the rows of stalls, Zack's eyes peeled for anything that grabbed his attention. The first thing to catch his eyes was an accessory stall with headbands and gloves and other accessory items.
"Let's go look over there buddy." He said, steering his son over to the stall.

It was apparent however, she was talking about Ynyr, grinning down to him.
"Your son, sir?" she asked, looking up to Zack.
