Shattered Dimensions

[Elario Luminus]

Dante huffed at that last part. 'Ain't that the truth...' he muttered to himself. He closed the gate behind them firmly, causing an echoing clang through the trees. Various birds scattered from their perches on the branches and fluttered into the sky, screeching wildly. Dante pulled out Ivory to join its sister and held the pistols casually in his hands, scanning the surrounds for demon activity.
'Does this Pharaoh know anyone by the name Sparda?'

[Tifa Lockhart]

'Uh... give me a minute," Yugi replied, falling silent as he continued to follow Dante, conversing with the Pharaoh.
'So Pharaoh? Ever met anyone by the name Sparda?' he asked.
His companion was silent for a long moment, as if contemplating this. 'My memory is not what it was Yugi... I do not recall-- he stopped abruptly, as if something had just come to him. 'Did you say... 'Sparda'?' he clarified.
'Yes, that's right...' Yugi replied.
'I do recall encountering a wanderer who went by that name. I was out riding, and I fell from my horse. When I woke he'd taken me in out of the harsh desert.'
Yugi then turned his attention back to their white haired companion.
"He said he met a traveler who went by that name, why do you ask?" he explained.

Dante sighed, his suspicions clarified now. 'That man was my father.'
Not saying anything more, Dante continued on, occasionally twirling his pistols around.

[Tifa Lockhart]

"Father?" Yugi squeaked, easily working out the time difference here. "but you'd have to be... like thousands of years old for that to be true!" he exclaimed.

[Elario Luminus]

Dante shook his head. 'Not quite. In human years I'm about 93. If you add in my heritage, I'm about 23.'
He stopped quickly and aimed his pistols towards a growl-like sound, but didn't see anything so he relaxed.

"Heritage?" Yugi became a little nervous, but Yami muttered a soft reassurance to him. "What heritage is that?"

[The Painted Lady]

Fiora knew she was in trouble. Two bullets, six demons. She had long ago put away her fan-blades - demons weren't quite subject to the same weaknesses as men. It didn't matter how much she played her sexuality trump card, in the end, they still thirsted for her as a human, not as a woman. There was no playing innocent, then striking when they least expected it. But if she was going to go down, she was going to go down fighting. With a flex of her left hand, a blade slipped out from the brace on her arm.
"You want me..." she snarled as they circled in slowly around her, "Come get me!"

Dante shooshed Yugi with a wave of his pistol.
'Quiet, I think I heard something.' He heard another growl and pointed in the direction of it.
'That way!' He charged off towards the sound, dodging trees and low branches, and finally arriving by spear tackling a demon. Struggling a little bit, the demon roared in his face. Dante smirked and let a round off in the demons face.

Yugi called after Dante, before he broke into a run to catch up with him. The moment he saw the demons though, fear flared in his heart. He didn't even have to ask Yami to step in, the Pharaoh had always taken control.
"Gaia the Fierce Knight!" he called, holding up the card. The horse-mounted knight materialised immediately, breaking through the demon hoard to reach the girl at its center and fend off the demons threatening her.

Fiora tensed when she heard more company approach, gritting her teeth. She was surprised when they began fighting the demons around her, but she didn't let her guard down. They could just as easily turn on her too. She used one falling body as a step to leap at the next one that rushed at her, plunging her wrist blade into its neck.

Dante caught a blade of one demon with Ebony behind him and smirked. He kicked up, launching the demon into the air above him. Twirling around, he fired a few rounds into the demon, the turned his attention to the rest. He spotted the "damsel in distress" plunge her hand into a demons neck, and a random knight on horseback charge into the fray. He chuckled and walked into the battle. Dante shot a demon in both knees, causing it to fall to the ground. He jumped on its back and pushed against the ground, using the demon as a board. Spinning real fast, he fired off rapid shots in every direction, annihilating demons left and right.

Yami circled the battle from a distance, maintaining Gaia's attacks from a safe distance. He was curious about this woman and her fighting stye.
'Strange that we dont see a living soul for weeks, then we meet two in one day...' Yugi mused.
'Yes... but i'd say it's a coincidence.' Yami agreed.

[The Painted Lady]

Fiora hissed a little as the white-haired man threw himself into the thick of the fight, flipping backward to get out of the way of his fire. She had a few wounds over her where her blood was starting to seep into her clothes, but she was more concerned with how her ribs ached fiercely with her movement.
'Just a bruise, Fiora. No time for riposare...'

Dante whooped as he span through the melee, shooting everywhere. He backflipped off the demon, launching it into a couple of its friends. He holstered his pistols and equipped his shotgun, cocking the sawn-off. Standing in a small circle of demons, he swung the shotgun around him like nunchuku, firing off shells all the while. Catching it again, Dante let off a blast at extreme close range, blowing apart its head. Behind him, a massive demon appeared, growling into his ear. The devil hunter turned around and instantly drew Rebellion.
'Show time!'
He dashed past the demon multiple times, slashing it as he went past each time. 'Here's the finale!' With one final dash, he impaled the demon and held it there for a second, then exploded the pent up energy inside him, destroying the demon in a mass of demonic power.

Gaia had by now reached the woman, he pulled up beside her and extended a hand to her.
"You are injured, My lady," he observed, the knight spoke with Yami's voice. "I can take you to safety and treat your wounds."
