[Ooooo, my post!]
The Atlantean felt the other Dark-hunter's presence before his self-introduction. He himself, as the one who had trained all three of the hunters in his presence, needed no introduction. Once they were grouped, he indictated the booth which had just become available a few metres away. It wouldn't bode well for him if any human were to eavesdrop on their conversation. Getting to the booth, he sat with his back to the wall and slung his backpack down by his feet before readjusting his black reflective sunglasses back in place from where they'd slid slightly down this nose. It wouldn't do to have anyone, especially the hunters, see his eyes; no one was ever comfortable when they did. "I won't keep you long," he began as soon as the others were seating themselves, "I need you juiced; we've got a long night ahead of us."
____
Simi plopped herself down in the chair beside the Katagaria the moment he took up conversation with her, though she screwed up her nose slightly when he asked her the meaning of what she'd called him. "Silly kitty. The Simi is talking about her cat. But I guess you wouldn't know that cause you are only little. The Simi's kichka is older, but you both got spots. I like cats, not dogs. I had a dog once, but I ate him so he didn’t last a whole year. He snarled at me and I thought, hmmm, snarling dog barbecue" she finished talking to take another bite of her steak; finishing off the first one as she picked up the second.

----------Dark-Hunter----------
Riz raised an eyebrow when Ro'Ryk approached. The baby Dark-Hunter wore an odd assortment of attire - completely not in keeping with the normal blacks of the other Dark-Hunters. Rizon imagined that if he chose to view himself in a mirror; Ro'Ryk would find his own clothes a bit blinding in brightness. Though, he imagined the assassin wouldn't really be one for self-preening.
"Rizon Abandoro of Macedon." he replied by way of introduction after Areon made his own introduction.
Once Ash had all four of them seated, Riz ground his teeth: wanting to get the meeting done with, and leave before his powers drained any further. When the Dark-Hunter spoke, he nodded and answered.
"Good. No offence to your company, gentlemen; but I don't want to be a hatchling when I leave here." he grimaced, hating the power-drain anew.
Why couldn't the damned God's make us immune to a power-drain when we have strategy meetings? he thought with a scowl, as he waited for Ash to begin.

He raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement on his features when she plopped down in the seat next to him as soon as he began to talk to her, but in truth, Sam wasn't particularly bothered. She seemed strange, but everyone had their quirks, and it wasn't like Sam had any right to judge. He was, after all, a jaguar with a human form, so he certainly had some quirks as well. And in the Sanctuary, there were even more creatures with strange quirks. All in all, this Simi wasn't that strange, when one considered the facts. Of course, Sam didn't know all of the facts, but he didn't exactly know that.
Looking amused about being called little, Sam allowed her to finish before responding. One of the things that really stuck out to him was that she had called him 'kitty.' How exactly did this female know that he was a katagaria? Or was she simply taking a wild guess and calling him 'kitty' simply because she could. But as far as Sam could tell, it really didn't seem like that. Instead, it seemed more as if she really did know exactly what he was. "I don't exactly have spots." Sam settled on saying. "Well, I suppose I do. But they're pretty hard to see." He amended his statement after a moment.
"I don't particularly like dogs either." Sam said smoothly, though in truth that was probably pretty stereotypical of him. However, stereotypical or not, he simply didn't like dogs that much. He didn't particularly like cats either. They were both too high maintenance for Sam's tastes. He liked things like . . . bugs. They were pretty easy to take care of. Or Sam assumed so, anyways. He'd never really tried to keep an animal as a pet. Or anything really. Except maybe a rock. "Although I can't say I would eat one, per say. I prefer to eat other animals. Like cows. They're pretty tasty." Sam wasn't too bothered by her comment about eating dogs. To be honest, the way he saw it, dogs were simply dogs.
As long as it wasn't a Katagaria Dog (did those even exist? Sam was pretty sure that they didn't), which he assumed that it wasn't, did it matter? It was simply a dog. That was like getting upset because someone ate a cow. It made no sense to Sam. So Sam paid little attention to that thought, and instead nibbled absently on a fry.

Ro'Ryk's face straightened as the others looked at him. He raised his left eyebrow, lowered it and then raised the other in a mocking fashion towards their initial reactions to his presence. He could feel them weighing him up - judging him. Ro'Ryk walked over to the one he figured was in charge, "Long night? Isn't every night the same length?" He faked a puzzled look. "Could ye please explain to me what it is I am doin' 'ere, during this long night of yours?" He looked over at the others and suddenly realised he was the only one standing, so he took a seat where he could find one.
[sorry it is short, still finding my bearings. I am changing my Ro'Ryk's nationality by the way, to welsh/Scottish]

Taking a seat at the table and crossing his ankle over his other leg, Areon sat back and closed his eyes, letting the atmosphere of Sanctuary soak into him. Without his sight he felt he could feel the place instead. The simmering heat and enticing smell of the kitchen; the stench of sweat, alcohol and smoke; the sounds of whoops, cheers and general chatter filling the air to a dull roar of noise, accompanied by the seemingly nonstop flow of girly giggles and gossip from nearby. Areon let his mind drift a second to the man he'd given money, and wondered where he was at right now. But that was neither here nor there.
Opening his eyes again and focusing on the moment at hand, he cursed inwardly as he felt himself drain a little more at Ash's mention of being 'juiced'. With a somewhat cold expression plastered onto him, Areon looked at Ro'Ryk. "I'm sure if you knew what's what, some nights would seem longer than others, Ro'Ryk. The best nights always seem to go the shortest though," he said, letting his last sentence drift off with a wistful look. While it might have seemed a little cruel, Areon preferred the nights that the Daimons were out in force, at least a little bit. His Spartan heritage roared to life on those nights, and he made sure the moonlit air was filled with gold dust. More opponents always made him fight harder; it's what made him so effective in combat during both his mortal and immortal time on the world.

It was then that Ash cut off any retort, making a 'T' for 'timeout' with his long fingers, "No offense, gentlemen, but I have a tight schedule to keep." "I've had reports from Talon that, as none of you have been here all that long in comparison, you should probably listen to. Last night there was an outbreak down the street at the 'Dragon's Den' above the Thai restaurant. I'm not talking about a little outbreak here, i'm talking about 20 daimons, 4 of which were spathi. If you considered daimons untrained, the Spathi are the trained version 2.0. So keep an eye out tonight, and don't cause a scene" he glanced pointedly at Riz when he made this comment, knowing the hunter has a penchant for them.
"According to Talon, he went to engage, they opened a bolt-hole and got the hell out of there, taking 3 young women with them. I'm not holding my hopes up for them, but something is definitely going down. Stay away from each other, but for tonight, keep to the French Quarter... any questions?"
_______
Simi nodded in a very 'all-knowing' way. "Cows are one of the Simi's favourite dishes too. Mmmm. I likes them all crispy with BBQ Sauce" she indicated the sauce she had sitting next to her plate with a look of utter satisfaction on her face. "There's not a lot of foods that aren't good with BBQ sauce," she added as she finished off her plate of steaks and glanced behind her, around the room, for Aimee. Alas, she was nowhere to be found, and a small pout formed on her lips before she turned back to the jaguar and grabbed her sauce to hold it up in front of him, "The kitty has tried it, hasn't he?"

Rizon listened carefully to what Acheron was telling them, and was surprised to learn of these Spathi Daimons attacking in numbers. In the past two thousand years; he'd encountered them rarely and never in groups. In the few time he'd engaged; they'd very nearly killed him. His Pyrokinesis was probably the only ace in his sleeve worth keeping secret in combat.
Grim-faced, he acknowledged Ash's recommendations with a nod; only changing his expression to shocked when Ash pointedly looked at him when mentioning causing a stir. Stricken with feigned surprise, Riz responded.
"I would never do any such thing! Ro'Ryk, on the other hand..." he said with a short laugh, clapping the assassin on the back gently. "Anyway; if that's all, I'm off to patrol. Gotta case this French Quarter for suspicious persons, and for my own need of knowing the streets before I get caught in a melee. Fight well, brothers." he said, saluting in the Ancient Greek fashion and rising from his seat.
Collecting his coat, the Macedonian moved to leave Sanctuary, stepping past a booth with a young man and a girl whose hair looked just like Ash's. Shaking his head, he ignored the coincidence and walked out. The cool night air felt refreshing, and he could feel his powers had ceased to drain. Deciding that as much distance as was possible was best; he took to his car, and started her up, driving away, and towards the furthest end of the French Quarter, once he programmed the zone into his GPS.
Getting out, he locked his car up and checked his boot. He withdrew an extendable sword and a few other toys, preferring to just summon his finger claws if it came down to it.
"Alright. May tonight's fun; begin."

So far, this Simi was a very interesting character. It wasn't necessarily a negative thing, and Sam wasn't particularly surprised by it. New Orleans seemed to attract all sorts of interesting characters. Perhaps it would be the best place of them all for Sam to lurk. And it had plenty of things to entertain the fairly young Katagaria, such as this Simi. Her discussions of eating a dog made Sam assume that she wasn't entirely human, but then, something about her had seem off from the very beginning. Though she was pretty, she certainly didn't come across as human. He didn't particularly mind it. It was none of his business what Simi was.
Cow and barbecue sauce. Her words distracted him from his thoughts, and Sam smiled just a bit. Somehow, he was guessing that she didn't mean something such as pulled pork. Sam had a sneaking suspicion that she really meant just cooked beef with barbecue sauce covering them. Again, he was suspecting that she wasn't human. But he still wasn't interested in digging to find out once and for all if she was.
"I'm sure it's delicious." Sam commented absently, nodding his head distantly. In truth, he hadn't really tried barbecue sauce with much. Generally he stuck with whatever was served to him and bothered with very few embellishments. He figured that if it was going into his stomach (and usually it was going into his stomach at a rapid rate), it didn't really need anything extra. "Do you eat things like cake with barbecue sauce?" Sam questioned curiously, a hint of amusement appearing on his features. He doubted she would, but it was certainly worth asking. Perhaps Simi would surprise him, however. He wouldn't put it past her. Already she seemed like the type that would be hard to predict and Sam had barely begun talking to her.
He glanced up sharply when Simi began speaking again. He took a moment to respond to her, mulling over his answer mentally before speaking. "I honestly can't say that I have." Sam said. "Should I?" He had a feeling that she would say that he should try it, judging by the way that she was waving that bottle around.

Ro'Ryk looked at Areon quizzically, not sure what he was really on about, but decided it did not matter. Ro'Ryk listened to Ash in silence as did all the others. They were not alone of course, with the feeling of power lethargy, he felt it too, in fact he guessed he was feeling it more so than the others, considering his 'age'. When the one named Rizon clapped him on the back, Ro'Ryk flinched. Not for fear, but being touched by others, especially those he did not know, or wish to 'enter', irked him ferociously, but his only response was the tightening of the muscles in his face. He was not about to start a fight with someone who he knew nothing about, not to mentioned he doubted the others would think twice about killing him for it. "Hm," he mused internally, the French Quarter. With them all been sent to the same area, Ro'Ryk made a quick mental note about the fact his powers might still be affected should he come into proximity of one of the others. This could be fatal to him if he was affected unknowingly and put too much trust his power. He had to be careful, he had to instead put his trust in patience. Better to rely more on natural ability which would not fail, then on supernatural ability that could get him deader than he last whore. He was digressing within himself, thinking too much about something that would probably end up being simple. Then again if it were simple they would not call a big meeting like this would they? Damn, there he went again, thinking too much. Oh well, old habits of an successful assassin were hard to break.

Areon nodded to Riz as he watched the Macedonian disappear into the night outside of Sanctuary, thoughts strangely on his question of why Areon kept himself separate from everything and everyone. Shaking his head slightly, he looked to Ash and Ro’Ryk with a determined look. ”Don’t worry. We’ll deal with the flux. We’ve gone for this long. Strength and honour.” Giving the two of them a Spartan salute, he stood up and swept out of Sanctuary, eyes on his bike already. Mounting onto the seat, he glanced at Dev, who was giving him an odd look. ”First you all show up at once and now you’re all leaving? I must have missed something important.” ”Don’t stress that pretty head of yours, Dev. Just hunting.” Without another word, Areon revved the bike into life and tore down the street towards the closest part of the French Quarter, darting between cars and narrowly avoiding late night pedestrians.
Upon his arrival, he looked around before cutting the engine and stepping off his bike. Lifting up the seat to reveal a hidden compartment, Areon grabbed a dagger etched with some runes. He’d had this dagger for as long as he could remember, and he felt he should know what the runes said, but the knowledge was always dancing beyond his reach. Ignoring them for now, he strapped the dagger to his lower back and walked down a nearby alleyway, his eyes always searching and alert for anything remotely suspicious. As he moved slowly, Areon felt a pang of pain as he remembered an old friend, and then a deep-seated rage as he remembered what said friend had done to him. Knowing that his vengeance had been swift and furious, the Spartan focused the energy into his hunt, and began walking faster.
