Llyr continued walking and didn't say a word for some time. When he finally spoke he kept his voice low.
"I will wait for you in our next life." He said as he turned the corner and pushed open the door to the entrance hall for Sabela to move through, bowing low.

Sabela wished she could reply, but the moment she entered the hall, she knew she couldn't. They were at risk of someone overhearing now. With great difficulty, she regained her composure, moving forward into the hall and outside to the carriage that would be waiting for her.

The King turned from where he was talking to the coach driver and as he spotted his daughter a look of sadness crossed his face.
"My dearest daughter..." he said, walking towards her with arms extended, "You're looking beautiful."
Llyr walked past him hurriedly to mount his horse, a white sure-footed shire, who waited by the far side of the Princess's carriage which waited open doored, a footman dipped in a bow.

Sabela's chin dropped as she moved into her father's arms. She wanted so much to tell her father that this was a horrible idea. The idea to blurt out her feelings for Llyr crossed her mind briefly too, but she held her tongue.
"I'm... going to miss you," she whispered.

As if sensing his master's nerves Llyr's horse danced sideways a few steps before Llyr settled him back into his place.
"I look forward to your visits." the king said, stepping away, "Take care..." He said gently as he took her hand and lead her towards the carriage.

Sabela glanced up to Llyr briefly as her father led her, before she brought her bright blues back to him as they stopped by the carriage.
"I love you father... I wish it didn't have to be like this."

Llyr didn't look down at the Princess as she looked at him, instead he stared forward.
"So do i my dearest daughter." The King said as he urged his daughter up the stairs into the carriage. "Travel safely." He said as he stepped back and the footman closed the door.

The cart soon began to move and Llyr followed alongside on his horse. He remained silent as they pulled away from the palace, and then finally he pulled up beside the window and knocked, urging it to be opened.

Sabela pulled aside the curtain, to reveal she was brushing more tears away.
"Can you at least travel with me?" she asked in a hushed voice.
