Dante's eyes fell upon the newcomer and a broad smile crossed his face.
"Well, if it ain't my favourite orange-armed knight?"
The newcomer straightened up, holstering the enormous revolver in his hand. His hair was the exact same colour and style as Dante's, and he wore a vaguely similar coat.
"You didn't honestly expect me not to show up, didja?"
"I wasn't expecting you to steal the spotlight like that, I'll tell you that," Dante replied. "It's good to see you, Nero."
Nero was about to reply when Squall stormed out and screamed for a search party, then started rooting through the piles of demon corpses. The Order knight furrowed his brow in confusion.
"What's his problem?"
"Probably somethin' to do with that girl in the blue dress," Dante commented, rather unsure. "Better lend a hand, huh?"

Leon plunged a fist into the ground one last time, and fell silent, leaving the ruined courtyard eerie and somewhat awkward. He stood up and looked in his palm, at the silver ring that once belonged to Rinoa. He detached the links of its chain and tied it around the base of his gunbade's blade, then sheathed his weapon. Silently, he walked back inside, now physically and emotionally unable to keep searching for her. He looked at his daughters Tifa and Aerith, and gestured for them to keep looking for him.
'Find her for me. I have no faith in your search, but please try...'
He turned to the guests and residents as a whole.
'After tonight is through, I ask that all guests leave the house, and leave the search to the permanent residents. I would not wish to make a burden on you all as well. I'm going to bed. Wake me if anything is needed straight away.'
He turned and walked back to his bedroom.

[ Hmm... You know about the ball, right? Well, since then, Griffon attacked the house with a horde of demons. The inhabitants fought off the assault, with Nero appearing in the nick of time and killing Griffon, but the house has taken a lot of damage. Rinoa seems to have disappeared, and Squall's ordered a search party.
That do it for ya?  ]
